Special prices for registrations made until March 31
Crosul Supereroilor, one of the most beloved competitions within Sports Festival, returns in 2026 with a new edition dedicated to runners who want to combine the joy of movement with the desire to support their community. The race will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, as part of the seventh edition of Sports Festival. As usual, both the start and finish lines will be organized at Cluj Arena.
Crosul Supereroilor combines the experience of a real sporting competition with the motivation to contribute to an important cause. For the second consecutive year, the race supports the Via Transilvanica project, an initiative of the Tășuleasa Social Association that created Romania’s first long-distance hiking trail. Half of each runner’s participation fee will be directed toward the development of this project, while the other half covers the participation kit offered to each competitor.

We are happy that, for the second year in a row, runners are supporting Via Transilvanica — a project that, much like sport itself, brings people together and encourages them to discover Romania in an active way.”
The Via Transilvanica project is a trail of approximately 1,400 km that crosses Romania from Putna to Drobeta‑Turnu Severin, connecting people, communities, and historical regions through nature, culture, and movement. Through this partnership with Crosul Supereroilor, Sports Festival continues to promote the values shared by both initiatives: physical activity and an authentic connection between people and nature. For those who wish to support this initiative even further, additional donations can be made online on the Via Transilvanica website or on site during the event.
Races and prizes
Crosul Supereroilor includes two races dedicated to amateur runners and sports enthusiasts: a 5 km and a 10 km race, both in the open category (men and women), with prizes awarded to the top three finishers.
5 km race (open, men and women):

Registration and participation fees
Registrations for Crosul Supereroilor can be made online. Tickets are currently in the Late Bird period (February 16 – May 15, 2026). However, everyone who registers for the race until March 31 will benefit from regular prices:
